Pre-Wash all Ribbons, Dry and Iron on Silk Setting.
 Cut a piece of Lightweight
Wadding or Pelon the size
of the designs for both items or 1 item if you are
only making one item.  Add this to the fabric
 once all your Thread Work
has been completed,
otherwise it makes it too difficult for stitching.
Centres of Mauve
Daisies -
Place the small piece of fabric provided in the
smaller hoop and
mark with a water erasable pen
 ( 2) circles 1 cm. Diameter.
With 2 strands of
Teal, 1 strand of gold cotton thread,
fill these circles with French Knots.
After completing
both remove from the hoop and cut them out
leaving just under 1
cm. border around the knots.
With matching sewing thread and small
tacking stitches,
gather this up and stitch underneath the knots
( best to have double thread for strength).
This forms the
button for the centre of the daisy.
Keep aside until you have completed the
other
ribbon embroidery.
Taking a water erasable
pen or chalk, trace the
design through  from the pattern sheet provided.
Should you not have a Light box, a well lit  window
 will also do the trick.
 Tape your pattern to the
window and place the fabric over it.
 DO NOT CUT OUT
YOUR FABRIC NOW.
LEAVE UNTIL ALL EMBROIDERY HAS BEEN
DONE, OR YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO
USE A HOOP.
