  Ribbon Stitch Flowers with Buds

Supplies:

 

 2 Metres 7 mm. Dk Apricot Silk Ribbon

             .5 Metre of  DMC Metallic Thread or substitute.

Small Butterfly Charm   Seed Beads

 1:  The Flowers are worked  first in 7 mm. using 

Ribbon Stitch in a clockwise manner.

 2:  With 1 strand of the gold, small straight 

stitches out from the centre of the flowers.

 Stitch 3 or 4 Seed Beads into the centre.

3:  Buds are in Ribbon Stitch also.

 4:  Stem Stitch from the Buds to the Flower Heads,

and one fly stitch around the base of the Bud.

 5:   Lazy Daisy leaves in Metallic Thread with some

scattered around the outside of the flower spray.

 6:   Stitch down the butterfly charm, with gold

Sewing thread.
